Founded in 2012, Legacy Asset Management Capital, LLC (“LAM”), is a diversified real estate investment and asset management company offering a variety of discounted Investment and Distressed Residential/Commercial real estate investment opportunities. Our investment portfolio is aimed at building long-term value for our investors through numerous growth opportunities via our adaptive reuse and re-positioning of residential and commercial acquisitions for all development or conversions.
The Legacy team prides itself on diverse educational, ethnic, experiential backgrounds and skill-sets in executing a planned approach strategy to providing superior risk-adjusted return on investments by taking meticulous steps in the preservation and safeguard of investment capital.

Reginald Beauvais
Founder and Managing Member
Legacy Asset Management Capital is the brainchild of Mr. Reginald Beauvais who is its Managing Member. With over 30 years experience as a business owner and 25 years of experience in the real estate industry, Mr. Beauvais has been championing the New York market with his ability to readily identify and capitalize on investment opportunities that re-positions assets to generate profits for investment partners while revitalizing communities one property at a time. Since founding Legacy Asset Management in 2012, Mr. Beauvais has organized six private equity funds.
Prior to forming Legacy Asset Management in 2012, Mr. Beauvais was a Vice-President at Sapphire Capital from 1998 to 2008, where he was responsible for over $75 million in residential and commercial loan origination. As an investor, he has been responsible for millions of dollars in residential real estate renovation, rehabilitation and development as well as management. With a tenure spanning over two decades in the real estate business, Mr. Beauvais has honed a keen acumen and has been extremely successful at utilizing an hands-on approach to project underwriting, structuring, risk mitigation, acquisitions, renovations/rehabilitation, winding-down and disposition, with a focus on efficient and effective utilization and best practices to minimize loss.
At Legacy Asset Management, Mr. Beauvais is focused on generating high-yield investment opportunities for his investors through his acquisition, re-positioning and conversion strategies as applied to both residential and commercial properties. Mr. Beauvais is a graduate of the City University of New York.
Henry Blachorsky
Director of Asset Management/Preservation
Henry Blachorsky has been active in the residential real estate arena for the last seven years. He served as a loan officer for several residential mortgage companies and subsequently a front and back office manager during the residential mortgage boom.
Mr. Blachorsky investigative research and execution strategy has enabled him to identify and traced borrowers that have not been heard from in years. His expertise incorporates, working out loan modifications and forbearance agreements, arranging and facilitating short sales and refinances of distressed debt and most importantly finding conventional and creative ways to liquidate each loan.
Henry has an unusual and extraordinary knowledge of the value of a property and probability of a positive result. He understands the underwriting and lending process and his comprehensive knowledge of mortgages combined with his people skills, managerial experience, investigative instinct and most importantly his work ethic, make him an integral and vital part of insuring the long term success of our company.
Steven Levy
External Member/Financial Officer
Steven began his career in real estate more than 30 years ago, having obtained his real estate broker’s license at the age of 19. After having graduated with a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School, he was hired by the Real Estate Investment Division of Mass Mutual, working on debt and equity investments of its multi-billion dollar real estate portfolio in such assets as multifamily, office, industrial/warehouse, and mortgage-backed securities. He received his J.D. degree from UCLA and practiced law with Jones Day in Los Angeles and Weil Gotshal in New York City. He also earned an MBA from INSEAD in France. Steven He has extensive experience in multifamily as an owner/operator, including acquisition, finance, renovation, management and condominium conversion. In the past decade he has been an active investor in distressed real estate through foreclosures and tax deeds/liens. He is currently investing in and developing multifamily and waterfront residential projects.
David Frieden
External Member/Director Investments
David has over 20 years of experience analyzing and evaluating all types of real estate assets, as well as development and construction deals. He served as Managing Director of Real Estate for Stillwater Capital Partners, a $1 billion hedge fund. David has financed dozens of real estate transactions with an aggregate value of over $400 million, including first mortgages, B-notes, mezzanine loans, construction loans and preferred equity investments. He also has extensive experience in asset management and work-outs. He worked previously at Citigroup and Massey Knakal Realty Services. He holds a B.S. in Economics and Math from Binghamton University, and an MBA from Baruch College Honors where he graduated Beta Gamma Sigma and received the Wollman Medal for Outstanding Achievement in Management Studies.
